Another Useless Cancer Study

posted on:  5/3/2006     revised: 3/8/2010

This summary appeared in the News Summary of Covertheuninsured.org:

"Cancer Patients Who Are Uninsured Have a Higher Risk of Dying, Study Finds
Uninsured adults with cancer face a 25 percent greater chance of dying than cancer patients with health care coverage, according to a study by the Intercultural Cancer Council reported in the Chicago Sun-Times.
Source(s): Rackl, Chicago Sun-Times, 4/26/06"

Really?  Someone actually did a study? Was there actually anybody who did not know this without the results of another useless study?  Maybe for their next project they might want to do a study to show that old people die of cancer more often than younger people.  After all, without the results of a study, how do we know for sure?
