Tired of spending so much time filling
out tax forms? Want to tell the IRS what your think?
If this comment is in the form of a
constructive suggestion, the IRS wants to hear from you.
Ironically, this involves filling out another form: download Form
13285A from www.IRS.gov, describe
the specific problem, your proposed solution and the type of
taxpayer or business that would be affected.
My first thought was to wonder whether
"frivolous return" penalties could apply to this form.
My second thought was to suggest the modified form
1040 I saw years ago. It represented the ultimate in
efficiency and only had two lines:
1. How much did you make:______
2. Send it in.
