My company Freedom Benefits has a library of model benefit plan documents for small businesses that are available free of charge to and company that has an employee usingMembers Insurance Exchange or other affiliated service atFreedom Benefits.net. Other businesses or advisers can have the sample documents free of charge when they hire me with a minimal retainer for advisory services.

The most popular small business employee benefit plan is the 2014 small business integrated employee benefit plan. This plan provides the most flexibility in employer-provided and voluntary benefits. The documents associated with this plan are the Plan Document, Summary Plan Description and corporate resolution. Other plans are available on request. The model documents come with the required disclosure that all legal documents should be prepared or reviewed by an attorney.
