QuickBooks improves management reports

QuickBooks, the accounting platform used by about 2 out of 3 small businesses and nonprofit organizations, recently announced improvements in the formatting of machine-generated reports.

This is important for several reasons:

1. The automated reports save a lot of time and expense over the ‘old days’ when these reports had to be prepared by humans.
2. The new report format makes is easier for reports to be in compliance with professional requirements of CPAs associated with the report.
3. The new report format is more easily customized for specific management requirements.

This upgrade addresses one of the most common objections to the online hosted version of QuickBooks software.
