Q: I am now searching for Term Life and Disability Insurance. I used the life insurance quote service link on FreedodmBenefits.net to get some rates for 30 year, level term life insurance. It came up with some pretty good numbers. Ideally, I would like to use the same company for life and disability.

A: While online pricing and enrollment services are a great way to save time and money, consider these three points: 1) The insurance company that turns out to be the best choice for life insurance will certainly not be the best choice for disability insurance. In fact, most of those life insurance companies quoted at FreedomBenefits.net do not offer disability insurance. The best disability insurance companies really focus on this specific market niche. 2) Disability insurance is best handled the “old fashioned” way with a telephone call to OnlineAdviser or an agent since no reliable online enrollment service exists. 3) Less than 3 in 100 life insurance policies are issued at the lowest rates quoted by the online pricing services. This is because these services do not know your medical history and tend to presume absolutely perfect qualifications. If you have any medical history, it pays to discuss this with a live enrollment adviser prior to the online application process.
