Q:
I need cheap health insurance but I live in Massachusetts where insurance is expensive. I need something less than $100 per month. Do you have any suggestions?
A:
Although there are no insurance that meet the state's mandated coverage
requirements, there are some low cost supplemental and limited benefit
policies for Massachusetts residents. See the Value Access Guarantee as
a general purpose coverage or the accident/emergency room plans included
in the Massachusetts insurance listing at Freedom Benefits.
Supplemental insurance is available for less than $100 per month but
this provided limited benefits.
