Assurant health policy delivery

originally posted: 11/22/2006  revised: 8/15/2011

Q: I applied for Assurant Health policy through State Farm Insurance online but never received the policy.

A: The default delivery method of this insurance is set to automatically set for "online delivery" and no policy is actually mailed. You may elect to receive a paper copy of the policy in the mail by paying an additional $10 fee. OnlineAdviser service no longer supports enrollment in these products.

None of the insurance products listed at Freedom Benefits charge extra fees for mail delivery.

Online enrollment and electronic delivery of the policy have become the default methods of many health insurance policies.
