Q: I am interested in getting
medical insurance for my son who is a student in college. How do the
online plans compare with the insurance offered through the alumni
association.
A: The student health plans
offered online at FreedomBenefits.net are the same as offered by most U.S.
colleges or alumni associations. The benefits and pricing is the same
as the school-sponsored plans, but FreedomBenefits.net uses an online
enrollment system for faster and more secure service. The student must
be going to school or have an address in a state that allows this type
of coverage.
