Q: I was referred to your website by a co-worker. I am looking for health insurance for my husband, who is 39 and has high blood pressure that is controlled by daily medication. He has been turned down by my insurance carrier, Unicare. I currently have an insurance salesman from Southwest Service Life Insurance Company who wants to write a policy for him, but I don't know if this is a reputable company and don't know how to find out. It is so confusing and time-consuming to look for insurance that we have just been ignoring the fact that he is uninsured for some time. Any guidance at all you can give would be so greatly appreciated?
A: All of the health insurance plans listed at FreedomBenefits.net will accept your spouse based on the information you provided but some health plans restrict eligibility when you have recently been declined by another health insurance company. All of these health plans listed at FreedomBenefits.net are reputable and there will probably be several good choices for affordable high quality insurance. Rates and application are handled directly online. Most will issue coverage immediately. Call the free OnlineAdviser with any other questions about coverage choices or enrollment procedures.
