Diabetic coverage update

Q: I applied for Mega Life and Celtic Insurance and was declined because I am diabetic. What other options are available?

A: First of all, Celtic does not decline insurance applications. If you were not eligible then your application was withdrawn. It sounds like a minor detail, bit it has significant implications to you. We cannot speak for Mega Life, but most insurers follow a similar procedure because of the harsh treatment of those who have been declined. (Do a search for related articles on this topic at www.AskTony.tonynovak.com if this is an important issue in your case) . Your best bet is to review the article "Health Insurance for Diabetics" at FreedomBenefits.net that summarizes all of the ways diabetics find health insurance in the U.S. and includes links to additional resources.
