Q: How much does an average
company charge an employee for health benefits?
A: This partly depends on the
industry and the size of the company, and whether the coverage is
individual or family type but as a national average for all employers,
the employee contributes 27% of the cost. The average cost of employer
provided health benefits is about $1000 per month for family coverage,
so this means than a typical employee with family health benefits would
be paying about $270 per month. See the article at FreedomBenefits.net
for more information on this topic.
