Home Depot vs. Lowes

Q: I know you recommend Home Depot stock but I am a bit more attracted to Lowes. Why do you choose Home Depot over Lowes?

A: Actually, I like both stocks and have owned and recommended both. Both will likely be strong performers for the foreseeable future. I prefer Home Depot right now primarily because of a few fundamental statistics: lower price earnings ratio, higher dividend yield, lower current price relative to its past your range.
