Q: Can I cover mail order
prescription drugs on my health reimbursement plan?
A: It depends on the source of
the medications. Mail-order from U.S. regulated drug companies are a
tax-qualified medical expense, but the problem is that increasingly the
mail-order medications come from Canada and other sources outside the
U.S. These imported drugs are not qualified for tax free reimbursement
under any health plan.
