Q: I am covered under a health
savings account plan and the ehealthdiscountplan.com prescription drug
discount card. I take two long term prescription drugs: Zocor for
cholesterol and Zoloft for depression. Even with the discount the drugs
are too expensive.
A: Both drugs will be available
in generic form starting next month. The generic names are
"simvastatin" and "sertraline" and both are priced at less than 1/2 of
the cost of the name brand drug.
