Q: I need health coverage for a one month stay in France, September 2006. My searches have resulted in very expensive premiums, with extra fees, service charges, far out of line with the same coverage for a year of minimal medical insurance here.
A: Yes, there seems to a miscommunication here. The coverage for international travel health insurance actually costs much less than 1/2 the price of a U.S. policy. There are no significant fees or charges as you indicated. All of the reputable international health insurance plans are listed side-by-side at FreedomBenefits.net with full documentation so there should not be any additional search required. Please run a quote for one month of "Liaison International " insurance coverage at http://FreedomBenefits.net/international-health-insurance.htm . The total cost will be about $200 per month range or less (depending on the coverage options you choose), as compared with well over $400 for comparable coverage here in the U.S. Please use the OnlineAdviser telephone support listed on that Web page during business hours if you do not find this coverage to be cost efficient as indicated.
