"A candid documentation, written in a waterman's dialect, of the travesty of social and environmental damages to our bay by those who can easily justify those practices from their own self interests.
Perhaps most interesting is that the author did not intend for the tales to be a condemnation, given the time and circumstances they were written. This is simply the way things were done (and in some cases still being done today). Yet an environmentally-conscious reader will be more shocked than amused by the admissions in these tales.
It's a short book, not professionally edited, but a wonderful insight into the recent history of common practices that contribute to our public resource management practices and laws today."
