Tony Novak Earns Recognition as CPA

June 5, 2012 – Tony Novak, a resident of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, has passed the rigorous state requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and been awarded a C.P.A. Certificate by the State of Delaware. Novak, the founder and senior adviser at Freedom Benefits, completed 150 college credits in accounting and passed an exhaustive four-part state test in order to achieve this designation. Prior to his work at Freedom Benefits, Novak worked as a pension accountant and as an account executive selling pension plan services and investments.

Tony Novak is a graduate of Delaware Valley College; he then earned a Masters of Business Administration from Temple University with a focus on finance and accounting. He also graduated with a Masters in Taxation from Villanova Law School with a focus of study on compensation planning. Novak is author of “A Small Business Owner’s Guide to Employee Benefit Plans” and a frequent contributor to a number of financial planning Web sites and publications. Tony and his wife Lori Novak have six children. Novak is a member of the Ardmore Rotary and is well known in the community as a former coach in community and interscholastic sports ranging from elementary through NCAA programs.
