Everyone seems to have a solid understanding and opinion of TV commercials as an advertising medium so this seems like a natural benchmark for discussion. This revelation is important to small businesses that typically do not have access to the budget required for TV advertisement.
The most positive experiences are created by:
1) email newsletters,
2) LinkedIn sponsored posts and
3) Facebook sponsored posts.
Of course, rate of return on advertising investment is entirely different than user experience, but it makes sense, I think, to start with good user experience and then build ROI from there.
